5 things you need to know when getting your hair straightened
1.Protect your hair from weather effects such as rain, sun, pollution etc, which can dry out hair and scalp. Wear a hat during Summer and use an umbrella when it rains

2.Use a designated after care shampoo & conditioner which are free from sulfate or Sodium. Both forms of SLS are powerful detergents that strip hair of its natural oils
3.Sleep on satin pillow covers as it is known to reduce hair breakage. Other materials have a rough texture, that’s why they cause more friction against the hair.
4.Avoid getting hair wet for 3 days after the treatment. No washing, sweating or swimming as well as staying out of the rain. Water and moisture can wash away the keratin treatment and leave marks on the hair.
5.Leave your hair down and straight for the first few days after the treatment. The keratin is still malleable, so if you put your hair in a ponytail or use a hair clip, it can leave dents in the hair.
